Since 2017, William Kelley has been engaged at the Lucerne Theatre as chief conductor co-tutor. He studied piano at the New York Juilliard School and the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, while continuing his studies in private conducting with Prof. Tonu Kalam and in masterclasses with David Zinman and Neil Varon. As a conductor, he has worked alongside the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (SOČR) and the North State Chamber Orchestra. As a pianist he appeared in recitals, chamber concerts and symphony concerts in New York, Berlin, Prague, Dusseldorf, Dublin, Rome, Santa Barbara and San Diego, among others. In 2015, the Juilliard School honoured the pianist William Kelley with the Vocal Arts Honours Recital.
