Deutscher Dirigentenpreis

The DDP equally takes the genres of opera and concert into consideration in the repertoire and thus demands cross-genre skills from the candidates. On the occasion of the anniversary “1,700 years of Jewish life in Germany” in 2021, special attention will be paid to music by Jewish composers such as the works of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Gustav Mahler, Arnold Schönberg or Jacques Offenbach.
